Gemotions

The festival was in full swing, a riot of colors and sounds. Leo, backstage, was a picture of serenity, almost at odds with the frantic energy swirling around him. He felt the stage lights warming his face as he watched a band on the big screen, performing on the main stage. The lead singer started up a tune. Leo smiled.

He let out a very small laugh. The band were performing his song. Their take on it was… wild, almost punk-rock. He took a long, slow sip of water. His pulse slowed.

The music reached out and grabbed him with its energy. His hands felt light, almost weightless, as if the tension had suddenly dissolved. He looked at his band members, and they all looked equally relaxed. He was ready.
